Tina & Amy

 I am undoubtedly a huge fan for both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.   I have love for both these awesome ladies for several reasons.

 They are hilarious, thus proving many times over (especially at the Golden Globes) that women ARE funny.

They are both writers, each having published great inspiring books. I'm slowly going through Amy Poehler's now and I love her essays.

No matter what, when the two of them are working together, it creates gold. I really enjoyed Baby Mama, so there. I am also super excited about they're new film coming soon, Sisters. This Buzzfeed post says it all.

They both starred in two of the best TV shows made, 30 Rock and Parks & Recreation.

Tina Fey actually created and wrote for 30 Rock and has an upcoming TV show on Netflix, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It has Ellie Kemper from The Office but more importantly, Jane Krakowski in it plus D'Fwan (30 Rock fans know), also known as Tituss Burgess. Have a look at the trailer here.

Amy Poehler is one of the founders of 'Amy's Smart Girls, along with Meredith Walker and Amy Miles. It all started with a web series, 'Smart Girls at the Party' and has now turned into a creative hub for teenagers, parents, teachers and fans of all ages to become part of a greater community, taking part in projects and the Smart Girls summer camp. It's all about 'self expression though the arts.' It's a great website.
